  • Wreaths Are Permitted October 15 To March 15.
  • April 15 - on Or About This Date, Depending Upon The Growing Season, The Caretaker Will Remove All Winter Decorations On The Grave.
  • May 28 To June 6 --no Restrictions. after June 6 All Decorations Other Than Those In Vases Will Be Removed.
  • Any Arrangement You Wish To Keep Must Be Removed By June 6th
  • June 6 To October 1 - only Arrangements In Vases May Be Used During This Period, As This Time Is The Heaviest Mowing And Trimming Season.
  • All Vases Are To Be Turned Down For The Winter By October 15.

    Due to the nature of our relationship with Eastgate/Parkway Funeral Service, discounts are available for families using their services.  Consult Office Manager for details.

    Perpetual Care
    North Dakota state law requires all cemeteries to charge perpetual care for continued upkeep of the cemetery. The fee for perpetual care is 20% of the selling price of the burial space. The perpetual care amount will be added to the lot price.

    Memorial Markers
    Sunset Memorial Gardens was established as a park-like cemetery property. In keeping with the original design, flush bronze-on-granite markers are the required type of memorial for the cemetery.

    Sunset Memorial Gardens of Bismarck, Inc., is a 501(c)(13) non-profit organization, wholly owned by the individual lot owners. Sunset Memorial Gardens has a management agreement with Eastgate/Parkway Funeral Service for the operation of the cemetery. Donations made to Sunset Memorial Gardens of Bismarck, Inc. are tax-deductible and exclusively used for improvement projects of the cemetery.
